Black 3/4th Sleeve Kurta Pant Set, sized XS to 5XL

How to Choose the Right Kurta Size: A Fit Guide from XS to 5XL

More returns happen because of size than almost any other reason — and most of the time, it's avoidable. Here's how to get your size right the first time, especially when shopping online.

Start with a flat measurement, not a guess

Don't go by the size you "usually" wear — sizing varies a surprising amount between brands and even between styles from the same brand. Instead, measure yourself: bust (fullest point), waist (narrowest point), and hips (fullest point), and compare against the brand's actual size chart rather than the label.

Know your fabric

Rayon and cotton with a bit of stretch are more forgiving if you're between sizes. Structured fabrics like cotton slub or crepe hold their shape and won't stretch to fit, so when in doubt with a non-stretch fabric, size up rather than down.

Read the product notes, not just the size chart

Small details matter: "model wears M for a relaxed fit" tells you the cut runs generous. "Runs true to size" tells you to trust your usual measurements. We include these notes on our product pages specifically to save you a size-exchange round trip.

Why size-inclusive brands matter

A huge number of Indian ethnic wear brands stop at XL or XXL — which leaves a large number of women choosing between an ill-fitting compromise or nothing at all. That's exactly why we size every single style from XS to 5XL, without treating the larger sizes as an afterthought in fit or design.

Still unsure?
